Die aktuell wachsenden geopolitischen Spannungen zwischen den USA und China, der Krieg in der Ukraine sowie eine zunehmende regionale Blockbildung verdeutlichen ein Ende der bedingungslosen Globalisierung. Verstärkt durch den Russland- Konflikt, strukturellen Problemen wie die Corona-Politik, der aktuellen wirtschaftlichen Abschwächung, einer latenten Immobilienkrise sowie aussenpolitischen Herausforderungen blicken westliche Entscheidungsträger/-innen zunehmend kritisch auf ihr bestehendes China-Engagement.

Selbst die grössten China-Optimisten glauben nicht mehr an das jahrzehntelang gepredigte Mantra „Wandel durch Handel“.

Für westliche Unternehmen ist eine grundsätzliche Überprüfung der bisherigen China- und Asienstrategie erforderlich, gilt es zum einen die vorhandenen langfristigen Marktpotentiale nachhaltig zu nutzen, zum anderen aber auch Eckpfeiler zu Reduzierung möglicher Risikofaktoren einzubauen.

Hierzu hat die EAC mit 30 Jahren Erfahrung in China dezidierte China-Szenarien entwickelt, aus denen spezifische Handlungsempfehlungen für Ihr Unternehmen abgeleitet werden können.

Die beigefügte [Präsentation](https://www.haw.ch/hubfs/Blog%20Bilder%20und%20Dokumente/Summary%20EAC%20Decoupling%20China%20Aug2022.pdf) gibt einen weiteren Einblick in dieses bedeutende Themengebiet. Aktuell bietet EAC im Rahmen eines „C- Level Dialogs“ die spezifische Diskussion möglicher Anpassungsszenarien in China an. Im Rahmen eines 2–3-stündigen physischen oder digitalen Workshop- Formates reflektieren wir unser China- Exposure.

#### Über uns

Die Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur HAW ist 1992 aus der Fusion der Kaufmännischen Gesellschaft Handelskammer Winterthur und dem Arbeitgeberverband Winterthur entstanden. Ihre Wurzeln gehen bis ins Jahr 1801 zurück. Die HAW prägte die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Stadt Winterthur und trägt bis heute dazu bei, dass Winterthur ein Wirtschaftsstandort mit gut ausgebauter Infrastruktur ist.
