Das Parlament hat heute eine Reform der 2. Säule (BVG) verabschiedet und diese dabei umfassend modernisiert. Die Mitunterzeichnenden haben bereits während der Debatte über die Reform AHV 21 angekündigt, dass sie sich für eine BVG-Reform einsetzen werden. Es ist ein gelungener Kompromiss: Beide Kammern haben sich mit der Senkung der Eintrittsschwelle darauf geeinigt, künftig deutlich mehr Menschen einen Zugang zur zweiten Säule zu ermöglichen. All jene, die bis anhin nicht versichert waren, werden nicht nur von besseren Renten profitieren, sondern auch gegen Tod oder Invalidität versichert sein. Für Menschen, die bereits BVG-versichert sind, bedeutet die Reform ebenfalls ein Grund zur Freude: Die Senkung des Koordinationsabzugs wird besonders bei Menschen mit tiefen Einkommen oder Teilzeitarbeitenden zu deutlichen Verbesserungen bei den Renten führen (bis zu 340 Prozent). Auch Mehrfachbeschäftigte profitieren vom neuen prozentualen Koordinationsabzug.

#### Reform stärkt die Solidarität zwischen den Generationen

National- und Ständerat einigten sich des Weiteren auf angemessene und faire Ausgleichsmassnahmen für die Übergangsgenerationen. Dies, um die Senkung des Mindestumwandlungssatzes von 6,8 Prozent auf 6,0 Prozent abzufedern. Diese Anpassung war dringend nötig, um die Umverteilung von mehreren Milliarden Franken jährlich zu reduzieren, welche auf Kosten der aktiven Bevölkerung und der jungen Generationen geht. Zu guter Letzt ist es dem Parlament gelungen, der Benachteiligung von älteren Arbeitnehmenden ein Ende zu setzen. Dies, indem die Lohnabzüge für Arbeitnehmende ab 45 Jahren vereinheitlicht wurden.

#### Das Volk wird entscheiden

Bevor die beschlossene Reform in Kraft tritt, wird sich mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit noch das Volk äussern können. Die Gewerkschaften haben bereits frühzeitig ein Referendum angekündigt. Dies gibt den Unterzeichnenden bis zur Abstimmung die Gelegenheit diese Reform zu präsentieren. Mit der Vorlage können wir das bewährte 3-Säulen-System und die Arbeit des Parlaments à fonds diskutieren.

#### Über uns

Die Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur HAW ist 1992 aus der Fusion der Kaufmännischen Gesellschaft Handelskammer Winterthur und dem Arbeitgeberverband Winterthur entstanden. Ihre Wurzeln gehen bis ins Jahr 1801 zurück. Die HAW prägte die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Stadt Winterthur und trägt bis heute dazu bei, dass Winterthur ein Wirtschaftsstandort mit gut ausgebauter Infrastruktur ist.
