Inflation schadet den Sparern und zerstört Wohlstand. Auch in der Schweiz ist in den letzten Monaten die Inflation stark angestiegen. Dafür gibt es unterschiedliche Ursachen. Die Geldpolitik der Zentralbanken war in den letzten Jahren zu expansiv. Der Krieg in der Ukraine führte zu einer Energiekrise und COVID hat Lieferketten unterbrochen und eingespielte Betriebsabläufe gestört.

Eine weitere Ursache für die Inflation sind zunehmende Regulierungen. Durch immer mehr Gesetze und Regulierungen wird die Produktion von Gütern teurer und auch die Preise für Dienstleistungen steigen. In den letzten Jahren hat die Regulierungsdichte in vielen Bereichen zugenommen und die Kosten dafür zahlen am Schluss die Konsumentinnen und Konsumenten. Regulierungen haben einen weiteren Nachteil, sie öffnen das Tor für Lobbyismus und begünstigen einzelne Branchen. Häufig sollen zudem höhere Kosten durch Subventionen für einzelne Anspruchsgruppen wieder abgefedert werden. Dieser Weg ist falsch und langfristig auch nicht finanzierbar.

Wir brauchen in der Schweiz und gerade auch im Wirtschaftskanton Zürich eine Politik, die die Kaufkraft für alle erhält und nicht preistreibend wirkt sowie nicht Monopolrenten für einzelne Branchen schafft.

Dafür sind folgende Massnahmen erforderlich:

- Begrenzung der staatlichen Regeln und Vorschriften. Staatliche Regulierungen machen nur Sinn, wenn marktwirtschaftliche Lösungen nicht funktionieren.
- Eine leistungsfähige öffentliche Infrastruktur beim Verkehr; Energieversorgung und Gesundheitswesen reduziert die Produktionskosten nicht nur der Unternehmen sondern vereinfacht auch das Leben der Arbeitnehmenden und der Konsumenten.
- Digitalisierung und Straffung von Abläufen ermöglichen eine effiziente und kundenorientierte Verwaltung.
- Durch massvolle Steuern und Gebühren haben aller mehr Netto von Brutto.

#### Über uns

Die Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur HAW ist 1992 aus der Fusion der Kaufmännischen Gesellschaft Handelskammer Winterthur und dem Arbeitgeberverband Winterthur entstanden. Ihre Wurzeln gehen bis ins Jahr 1801 zurück. Die HAW prägte die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Stadt Winterthur und trägt bis heute dazu bei, dass Winterthur ein Wirtschaftsstandort mit gut ausgebauter Infrastruktur ist.
