**Update: 56% Ja. Der Kanton Zürich setzt ein starkes Signal und will auch künftig zu den besten Wirtschaftsstandorten gehören. Es bleibt allerdings - gerade in Winterthur - weitere Ueberzeugungsarbeit zu leisten.**

**Die HAW unterstützt die am 1. September 2019 zur Abstimmung gelangende kantonale Steuervorlage. Als tragbarer Kompromiss fördert die Vorlage Forschung und Entwicklung, führt international akzeptierte Steuerinstrumente ein und sichert nachhaltig den Wirtschaftsstandort und Arbeitsplätze. **

Mit Annahme der "AHV-Steuervorlage" hat das Stimmvolk entschieden, das Steuersystem für Unternehmen grundlegend umzustellen. Die Kantone sind nun verpflichtet, die neuen Bundesvorgaben in kantonales Recht umzusetzen, weshalb im Kanton Zürich am 1. September 2019 über die "Steuervorlage 17" abgestimmt wird. Damit der Kanton Zürich auch zukünftig für Unternehmen attraktiv bleibt, muss auch das kantonale Steuerrecht angepasst werden. Auch wenn kurzfristig mit gewissen Steuerausfällen gerechnet werden muss, werden im Gegenzug die Rahmenbedingungen für Unternehmen, die im Kanton Zürich forschen und entwickeln, verbessert. Dadurch werden die Innovationsstandorte Kanton Zürich und Winterthur gestärkt, eine wichtige Voraussetzung für attraktive Arbeitsplätze.

Kurzfristige Mindereinnahmen bei den Städten und Gemeinden sollen mit neuen Finanzausgleichsinstrumenten auf ein verkraftbares Mass gesenkt werden, indem Städte und Gemeinden an den Mehreinnahmen durch die Erhöhung des Kantonsanteils an der Bundessteuer beteiligt werden. Auf diese Weise sollten keine Steuererhöhungen für natürliche Personen resultieren. Die Aussage, der Mittelstand bezahle diese Steuerreform, ist falsch.

Die Vorlage ist massvoll, ausgewogen und sorgt dafür, dass der Kanton Zürich und Winterthur attraktive Standorte für Unternehmen bleiben. Sie stärkt auch die regionale Position als führender europäischer Innovationsstandort.

#### Über uns

Die Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur HAW ist 1992 aus der Fusion der Kaufmännischen Gesellschaft Handelskammer Winterthur und dem Arbeitgeberverband Winterthur entstanden. Ihre Wurzeln gehen bis ins Jahr 1801 zurück. Die HAW prägte die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Stadt Winterthur und trägt bis heute dazu bei, dass Winterthur ein Wirtschaftsstandort mit gut ausgebauter Infrastruktur ist.
