**Das Eidgenössische Büro für die Gleichstellung von Menschen mit Behinderung (EBGB) unterhält ein Programm 'Gleichstellung und Arbeit'. Ziel ist die Verbesserung der Gleichstellung in der Arbeitswelt mit Fokus auf Rahmenbedingungen im Arbeitsumfeld. Als Ergänzung zu Massnahmen der IV sollen Arbeitgeber unterstützt werden, Barrieren abzubauen. Arbeitgeber haben dabei die Möglichkeit, für die Umsetzung Bundesgelder zu beantragen.**

Das EBGB hat die Aufgabe, die Gleichstellung von Menschen mit Behinderungen zu fördern und sich für die Beseitigung von Benachteiligungen von Menschen mit Behinderungen einzusetzen. Das EBGB ist eine Fachstelle innerhalb des Eidgenössischen Departements des Innern EDI und ist im Generalsekretariat GS-EDI angesiedelt. Seit 2017 ist das Programm «Gleichstellung und Arbeit» ein inhaltlicher Schwerpunkt.  Darin sind Analysen und verschiedene Projekte im Bereich Arbeit geplant. Zudem werden Arbeitgeber sensibilisiert und informiert. Das Programm soll helfen, Barrieren im Arbeitsumfeld abzubauen. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt wird gesetzt mit Massnahmen zur barrierefreien Kommunikation im Bereich E-Accessibility. 

Der Bund unterstützt die Finanzierung von Projekten, die neue Wege der Integration von Menschen mit und ohne Behinderungen erproben. Denn um Gleichstellung zu erreichen, braucht es nicht nur Gesetze, sondern auch eine sinnvolle Umsetzung in der Praxis.  Pro Jahr kann der Bund rund 2 Millionen Franken an finanzieller Unterstützung leisten.

Die Integration von Menschen mit Behinderung in den ersten Arbeitsmarkt beschränkt sich meist auf Einzelfälle. Berufliche Inklusion geht einen Schritt weiter und umfasst auch die Gleichstellung in der Arbeitswelt: Arbeitgeber passen ihre Rahmenbedingungen so an, dass Menschen mit Behinderungen einen Beitrag zum Unternehmenserfolg leisten können. Die Umsetzung dieser Projekte erfolgt in enger Begleitung durch Bundesstellen, Sozialpartner und Behindertenorganisationen.

#### Über uns

Die Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur HAW ist 1992 aus der Fusion der Kaufmännischen Gesellschaft Handelskammer Winterthur und dem Arbeitgeberverband Winterthur entstanden. Ihre Wurzeln gehen bis ins Jahr 1801 zurück. Die HAW prägte die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Stadt Winterthur und trägt bis heute dazu bei, dass Winterthur ein Wirtschaftsstandort mit gut ausgebauter Infrastruktur ist.
