**Im Rahmen der Cluster-Initiative Smart Machines organisiert die HAW zwei Online-Mittagsveranstaltungen. Am 18. Mai 2021 demonstriert Prof. Dr. Wernher van de Venn, Leiter des Instituts für Mechatronische Systeme der ZHAW, die Digital Factory «SmartPro 4.0». Dieser Anlass ist öffentlich. Am 26. Mai 2021 wird das Thema in einer geschlossenen Expertenrunde von Entwicklungsverantwortlichen von HAW-Mitgliedern bezüglich Pain Points aus Sicht der Industrie vertieft.**

Die Digital Factory «SmartPro 4.0» ist ein mit professionellen Komponenten ausgestattetes Industrie 4.0 Produktionssystem, welches als Lernlabor und Demonstrator für Forschung & Entwicklung und für die Lehre eingesetzt wird. Am Beispiel einer Montageanlage können alle wesentlichen Aspekte einer Industrie 4.0 Produktion und deren Vernetzung innerhalb der Wertschöpfungskette hard- und softwaremässig nachgebildet, erprobt, untersucht und simuliert werden.

In der Produktionsanlage stehen unter anderem folgende Komponenten und Technologien zur Verfügung:

- Cyber-physische Systeme,
- Cloud computing und Cloud manufacturing, Big Data Anwendungen,
- Social Machine Applikationen mit Maschine zu Maschine und Mensch-Maschine-Interaktion,
- Globale Vernetzung von Wertschöpfungsketten, connected und augmented worker Lösungen,
- intelligente Produkte, digitaler Zwilling,
- smart services (remote und predictive Maintenance-Lösungen), Datenanalyse mit KI-Tools usw.

Das Konzept der Lernfabrik vermittelt Studierenden, Fachkräften und Entwicklern, Schlüsselkompetenzen im Bereich Industrie 4.0, welche für die Arbeit in der modernen, digitalisierten Produktion heute unumgänglich sind. Gleichzeitig erlaubt sie das Forschen an zukünftigen Technologien und Strategien, um die digitale Transformation hin zur Smart Factory nachhaltig gestalten zu können.

#### Über uns

Die Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur HAW ist 1992 aus der Fusion der Kaufmännischen Gesellschaft Handelskammer Winterthur und dem Arbeitgeberverband Winterthur entstanden. Ihre Wurzeln gehen bis ins Jahr 1801 zurück. Die HAW prägte die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Stadt Winterthur und trägt bis heute dazu bei, dass Winterthur ein Wirtschaftsstandort mit gut ausgebauter Infrastruktur ist.
