**Am 8. April fand in Turbenthal ein Smart Machines Anlass zum Thema Aviatik statt. Unter dem Titel «Smart Aviatik - leistungsfähig und zukunftssicher» hielten verschiedene Experten im Bereich herausragende Referate. Im Zentrum der Veranstaltung standen dabei Smarte Ansätze und Konzepte der Luftfahrt - auch von lokalen Unternehmen - sowie neuartige Antriebstechnologien und Flugzeugkonzepte.**

Der Anlass fand auf dem Campus der Suter Industries AG in Turbenthal statt. Das weltweit etablierte und unabhängige Schweizer Unternehmen Suter Industries entwickelt seit mehr als 20 Jahren modernste Motoren, Antriebssysteme und Fahrzeuge für die Fahrzeugindustrie.

Nach einer herzlichen Begrüssung durch Cluster Manager Peter Anderegg eröffnete Philip Glocker, Head of Electronics Department bei der Smartflyer AG, das inhaltliche Programm des Anlasses. In seinem Vortrag widmete er sich den innovativen Elektroflugzeugen seines Unternehmens – insbesondere dem Smartflyer SFX1, einem hybridelektrischen Flugzeug, das derzeit viel Aufmerksamkeit in der Branche auf sich zieht. Glocker gewährte spannende Einblicke in die technischen Hintergründe und Herausforderungen bei der Entwicklung des SFX1.

Anschliessend war Niklas Hagen, Co-Founder und Geschäftsleiter der PMRobotics GmbHan der Reihe. Die innovative Firma mit Sitz im Tösstal hat sich ganz der Entwicklung, dem Vertrieb, Handel, Betrieb und der Reparatur von bemannten und unbemannten Luftfahrzeugen, Fahrzeugen und Booten verschrieben. Im Zentrum seines fesselnden Beitrags stand die Drohnentechnologie – ein Bereich, in dem PMRobotics die gesamte Bandbreite abdeckt: von der aerodynamischen Konzeption über den strukturellen Aufbau, die Elektronik und Softwareentwicklung bis hin zur eigentlichen Fertigung und dem Betrieb von UAV-Systemen im In- und Ausland. Hagen bot einen faszinierenden Einblick in die technologischen und unternehmerischen Herausforderungen dieser Zukunftsbranche.

Im Anschluss sprach Prof. Dr. Michel Guillaume, Zentrumsleiter des Zentrums für Aviatik an der ZHAW, über die Zukunft des elektrischen Fliegens – ein Thema, das angesichts des stetigen Wachstums der globalen Mobilität an Relevanz gewinnt. Die Luftfahrt steht vor der ambitionierten Herausforderung, bis 2050 vollständig emissionsfrei zu werden. Guillaume stellte verschiedene neue Antriebstechnologien vor, die in den kommenden zwei Jahrzehnten zum Durchbruch verhelfen sollen. Dabei ging er nicht nur auf die technischen Aspekte ein, sondern bewertete auch deren Realisierungschancen. Seine Ausführungen machten deutlich, wie viel Innovationskraft und interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit notwendig ist, um diese Ziele zu erreichen.

Zum Abschluss führte Lars Jäger, Head Sales & Marketing bei der SUTER INDUSTRIES AG, die Teilnehmenden durch den beeindruckenden Campus des Unternehmens. Mit Begeisterung erzählte er von der Geschichte der Firma und deren Entwicklung im internationalen Motorsport. Besonders eindrücklich war der Besuch der Motorenprüfstände im Keller, wo modernste Technik auf Präzisionsarbeit trifft. Auch das Thema Aviatik wurde von Jäger aufgegriffen – denn SUTER INDUSTRIES ist nicht nur im Rennsport zuhause, sondern auch in der Entwicklung und Produktion von Luftfahrtmotoren aktiv. Diese Vielseitigkeit und Innovationskraft spiegelte sich im gesamten Rundgang wider.

Der Anlass bot eine Fülle an faszinierenden Perspektiven und inspirierenden Ideen. Die Referenten ergänzten sich hervorragend und sorgten für eine abwechslungsreiche und lebendige Veranstaltung. Abgerundet wurde der Tag mit einem gemütlichen Apéro, bei dem anregende Gespräche geführt, neue Kontakte geknüpft und Gedanken vertieft wurden – ein gelungener Ausklang für ein rundum bereicherndes Event.

#### Über uns

Die Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur HAW ist 1992 aus der Fusion der Kaufmännischen Gesellschaft Handelskammer Winterthur und dem Arbeitgeberverband Winterthur entstanden. Ihre Wurzeln gehen bis ins Jahr 1801 zurück. Die HAW prägte die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Stadt Winterthur und trägt bis heute dazu bei, dass Winterthur ein Wirtschaftsstandort mit gut ausgebauter Infrastruktur ist.
