Am Donnerstag, 6. November 2025, laden die Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur (HAW) und ihre Partner zu den Startup Nights 2025 in die Eulachhallen in Winterthur ein. Unter dem Motto „Smart Mobility – Aktuelle und zukünftige Technologien für e-Fahrzeuge“ bietet der Event spannende Einblicke in die rasante Entwicklung der Elektromobilität in der Schweiz und darüber hinaus.

Elektroautos, e-LKWs und Nutzfahrzeuge sind längst Teil des Alltags, doch die Transformation hin zu einer vollständig elektrischen Mobilität steht noch am Anfang. Herausforderungen wie die begrenzte Reichweite von Fahrzeugen, lange Ladezeiten und Sicherheitsfragen rund um Lithium-Ionen-Batterien bremsen die schnelle Verbreitung. Zudem ist die Ladeinfrastruktur in der Schweiz noch im Aufbau – mit aktuell rund **20'000 Ladestationen** besteht hier noch viel Potenzial.

Gleichzeitig ist die Schweiz ein Hotspot für Forschung und Innovation im Bereich Elektromobilität: Von neuartigen Antriebssystemen über fortschrittliche Batterietechnologien bis hin zu Embedded Systems für intelligente Steuerungen – zahlreiche Unternehmen und Forschungseinrichtungen treiben die Entwicklung voran. Die **Region Ostschweiz** ist in dieser Hinsicht besonders aktiv.

Hochkarätige Referent*innen und aktuelle Technologien  
Die Veranstaltung bringt führende Expert*innen aus Industrie und Forschung zusammen, die Einblicke in ihre aktuellen Projekte und Innovationen geben:

- **Designwerk – e-Antriebe für Nutz- und Kommunalfahrzeuge**  
  Seit 2008 entwickelt und baut **Designwerk** in Winterthur e-Fahrzeuge. Das Unternehmen hat sich auf Nutzfahrzeuge und Kommunalfahrzeuge spezialisiert und bietet leistungsfähige Antriebssysteme, die Akkus, Motoren, Steuerung und Ladetechnik kombinieren. **Markus Erdmann**, Product Manager bei Designwerk, zeigt auf, welche Faktoren für die Leistungsfähigkeit und Vielseitigkeit moderner e-Antriebe entscheidend sind.
- **SWD AG – Axialflussmotoren für Serienfahrzeuge**  
  Die **SWD AG** bringt jahrzehntelange Erfahrung in der Produktion von Elektroblechpaketen für e-Motoren ein. Mit der Industrialiserung von Axialflussmotoren, die sich durch hohe Leistungsdichte bei geringem Gewicht auszeichnen, eröffnet das Unternehmen neue Möglichkeiten für Serienfahrzeuge. **Thomas Stäuble**, CEO SWD AG, erläutert die innovativen Fertigungsverfahren und die technischen Vorteile der Motoren.
- **Batterietechnologien der Zukunft**  
  Die Batterietechnologie gilt als Schlüssel für die Weiterentwicklung der Elektromobilität. **Dr. Meike V. F. Heinz** von der EMPA Dübendorf vermittelt einen Überblick über aktuelle Trends: Neben der Weiterentwicklung etablierter Lithium-Ionen-Batterien rücken Festkörperbatterien, Natrium-Ionen- und Salzbatterien zunehmend in den Fokus. Sie bieten höhere Energiedichten, kürzere Ladezeiten und erhöhte Sicherheit und sind entscheidend für die e-Mobilität der Zukunft.
- **Embedded Systems als Enabling Factor für e-Mobility**  
  Mit über 40 Jahren Erfahrung entwickelt **Noser Engineering** intelligente Software- und Hardwarelösungen für die Industrie. **Dr. Michael Eisenring**, Business Unit Leiter Embedded Systems, zeigt auf, wie vernetzte Steuerungssysteme die Leistungsfähigkeit von e-Fahrzeugen erhöhen und neue Anwendungen ermöglichen.

Netzwerken und Austausch beim Apéro  
Zum Abschluss der Veranstaltung laden die Organisatorinnen zum Apéro ein. Diese Gelegenheit bietet den Teilnehmenden die Möglichkeit, die Inhalte der Vorträge zu vertiefen, Kontakte zu Expertinnen zu knüpfen und sich über die neuesten Trends im Bereich Elektromobilität auszutauschen.

#### Über uns

Die Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur HAW ist 1992 aus der Fusion der Kaufmännischen Gesellschaft Handelskammer Winterthur und dem Arbeitgeberverband Winterthur entstanden. Ihre Wurzeln gehen bis ins Jahr 1801 zurück. Die HAW prägte die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Stadt Winterthur und trägt bis heute dazu bei, dass Winterthur ein Wirtschaftsstandort mit gut ausgebauter Infrastruktur ist.
