Die vom Bundesrat beschlossene Lockerung der Corona-Massnahmen per 1. März ist für den Wirtschaftsdachverband economiesuisse ungenügend. Angesichts vergleichsweise tiefer Fallzahlen, der fortschreitenden Impfung von Risikogruppen und riesiger wirtschaftlicher Schäden braucht es jetzt eine klare und verbindliche Öffnungsstrategie. Mit ihrem Zögern nimmt die Regierung langfristige Schäden in Kauf.

Obwohl die Fallzahlen in den vergangenen Wochen deutlich gesunken und die Intensivstationen nicht mehr an der Belastungsgrenze sind, verzichtet der Bundesrat auf wichtige Öffnungsschritte. So hält er weiterhin daran fest, dass Restaurants auch in Aussenräumen weder Gäste bedienen noch Sitzgelegenheiten anbieten dürfen. Auch dass die Homeoffice-Pflicht weiterbestehen soll, wird von economiesuisse mit Nachdruck kritisiert.  Sie stellt nicht nur viele Unternehmen vor grosse Herausforderungen, sie ist auch für viele Arbeitnehmende eine grosse, vor allem psychische Belastung. 

#### ÖFFNUNGS-FAHRPLAN LÄSST ZU VIELE FRAGEN OFFEN

Nur in Umrissen hat der Bundesrat heute den Fahrplan für die nächsten Öffnungsschritte skizziert. Für viele Unternehmen bleibt unklar, womit sie ab dem 22. März rechnen dürfen. Die Definition der weiteren Öffnungsschritte wäre nun aber angezeigt, denn immer mehr Personen aus den Risikogruppen sind mittlerweile geimpft und damit ausser Gefahr. Weil damit auch bei einem erneuten Anstieg der Fallzahlen keine rasche Überlastung des Gesundheitswesens mehr droht, verliert der Staat seine Legitimation, die persönlichen und wirtschaftlichen Freiheiten weiterhin derart stark einzuschränken.

economiesuisse fordert, dass der Bundesrat nicht bis zum 22. März zuwartet, bis er weitere Öffnungsschritte kommuniziert. Die Menschen müssen wieder mehr Selbstverantwortung übernehmen können. 

#### BÜNDNER TESTSTRATEGIE ZUM VORBILD NEHMEN

Damit so bald wie möglich weiter geöffnet werden kann, müssen aus Sicht von economiesuisse auch die Impfbemühungen nochmals verstärkt werden – nötigenfalls mit logistischer Unterstützung durch die Armee. Parallel dazu sollte der Bund aber auch endlich auf regelmässige, flächendeckende Tests setzen, um die Ansteckungsketten so früh wie möglich zu unterbrechen. Der Kanton Graubünden hat mit solchen Massentests sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht und wird dabei von Unternehmen und Bildungseinrichtungen tatkräftig unterstützt. Diese Strategie sollte nun endlich schweizweit gefördert werden.

#### Über uns

Die Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur HAW ist 1992 aus der Fusion der Kaufmännischen Gesellschaft Handelskammer Winterthur und dem Arbeitgeberverband Winterthur entstanden. Ihre Wurzeln gehen bis ins Jahr 1801 zurück. Die HAW prägte die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Stadt Winterthur und trägt bis heute dazu bei, dass Winterthur ein Wirtschaftsstandort mit gut ausgebauter Infrastruktur ist.
