Die Menschen werden immer älter und immer mehr Menschen kommen in den nächsten Jahren ins Pensionsalter. Unser Vorsorgesystem muss entsprechend an die neuen Gegebenheiten angepasst werden. Ansonsten droht der AHV schon bald das Geld auszugehen. Es ist deshalb höchste Zeit zu handeln und die AHV mit der Reform AHV 21 finanziell zu stabilisieren. Nur wenn das Sozialwerk strukturell an die demografischen Realitäten angepasst wird, kann es nachhaltig für sichere Renten sorgen.

Das [dossierpolitik ](https://www.economiesuisse.ch/sites/default/files/publications/dossierpolitik%20Reform%20AHV21%20SAV%20economiesuisse_0.pdf)des Schweizerischen Arbeitgeberverbands und economiesuisse zeigt auf, wieso die Reform AHV 21 dringend nötig ist, welche Reformmassnahmen vorgesehen sind, wie die AHV überhaupt finanziert wird und warum mit der Reform alle einen Beitrag zur Stabilisierung der AHV leisten – nicht nur die Frauen.

Die Harmonisierung des Referenzalters leistet unbestritten einen Beitrag zur Reform der AHV 21. Es ist ein Beitrag zur Gleichstellung und zu einer fairen und nachhaltigen Finanzierung der AHV. Im Getöse der gewerkschaftlichen Propaganda gegen die AHV 21-Reform geht jedoch ein ganz genereller Aspekt vergessen: Mit der Erhöhung der Mehrwertsteuer tragen vor allem die jungen Konsumentinnen und Konsumenten zur längerfristigen Finanzierung der AHV bei. Die rentennahen Jahrgänge und Pensionierte bezahlen zwar mit, die Jungen müssen die Mehrbelastung jedoch wesentlich länger tragen.

Die AHV wird ausserdem zu einem nicht unwesentlichen Teil über Subventionen und Solidaritätsbeiträge finanziert. Dabei sind es nicht nur die Jungen, Männer und Ledigen, sondern auch diejenigen mit hohen Einkommen, die wesentlich dazu beitragen, dass die Renten finanziert werden können. Attraktive und nachhaltige wirtschaftliche Rahmenbedingungen, die für eine starke Wirtschaft mit gut bezahlten Jobs sorgen, sind deshalb auch in Kontext der Rentensicherheit wichtiger denn je.

#### Über uns

Die Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur HAW ist 1992 aus der Fusion der Kaufmännischen Gesellschaft Handelskammer Winterthur und dem Arbeitgeberverband Winterthur entstanden. Ihre Wurzeln gehen bis ins Jahr 1801 zurück. Die HAW prägte die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Stadt Winterthur und trägt bis heute dazu bei, dass Winterthur ein Wirtschaftsstandort mit gut ausgebauter Infrastruktur ist.
