**Unter dem Lead des House of Winterthur wurde für Winterthur und die Region ein neuer Markenauftritt und eine neue Kommunikationsstrategie entwickelt und heute präsentiert. Die Marke Winterthur dient als Dachmarke. Sie markiert Engagements, Veranstaltungen, Produkte und Unternehmen aus Stadt und Region.**

![Standort Winterthur](https://www.haw.ch/hs-fs/hubfs/winterthur_fremdkom_rot.jpg?width=900&name=winterthur_fremdkom_rot.jpg)Ziel ist es, der Vielfalt und der Einzigartigkeit der Region Winterthur die Sichtbarkeit zu verschaffen, die sie verdient. Um dies zu erreichen, lohnt es sich, gemeinsam und mit der gleichen Sprache zu sprechen. Konsequentes und präzises Anwenden der kommunizierten Guidelines ist die beste Voraussetzung dafür.

Die Kampagne startet von innen: Die Bevöl­kerung, die ansässigen Unternehmen und Startups, die Bildungs- und Kultur­institutionen, die touristischen Leistungsträger, Verbände und Persönlichkeiten werden auf­gerufen und motiviert, als Botschafterinnen und Bot­schafter aufzutreten und die Grundwerte und die dazu entwickelten grafischen Elemente aufzugreifen, sodass die Marke Winterthur gegen aussen sichtbar wird.  Nach dem erfolgten ersten Schritt nach innen – der jene begeistert, welche die Region Winterthur kennen und als Botschafterinnen und Botschafter stärkt – soll die Marke in einem zweiten Schritt mittels Aussenkampagne national und punktuell auch internatio­nal positioniert werden.

Mit Blick auf die Wirtschaft hebt die Kampagne unsere industriellen Wurzeln, aber auch unser heutiges Selbstbewusstsein hervor. Der Pioniergeist ist seit jeher treibende Kraft und damit ein Grundwert von Stadt und Region Winterthur: Hier wurde die erste Fabrik der Schweiz in Betrieb genommen und eine Vielzahl von bahnbrechenden Erfindungen und Entwicklungen für Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft initiiert. In Winterthur hat die Weltoffenheit Tradition, insbesondere dank der Industrie- und Handelsunternehmen, die früh den Zugang zum Weltmarkt schufen. Das nahe und lebendige Neben- und Miteinander von Kultur, Wirtschaft, Bildung und Tourismus soll diesen Grundwert auch in Zukunft erhalten.

#### Über uns

Die Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur HAW ist 1992 aus der Fusion der Kaufmännischen Gesellschaft Handelskammer Winterthur und dem Arbeitgeberverband Winterthur entstanden. Ihre Wurzeln gehen bis ins Jahr 1801 zurück. Die HAW prägte die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Stadt Winterthur und trägt bis heute dazu bei, dass Winterthur ein Wirtschaftsstandort mit gut ausgebauter Infrastruktur ist.
