The internet of things (IoT), BigData, artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain or ChatBots -- so-called disruptive technologies -- are still just buzzwords for many companies. In contrast, other companies have already adopted these technologies to improve internal efficiency, increase customer satisfaction and gain competitive advantage.
This is the first seminar in a series on the topic of "Demystifying Digital" that JCC in cooperation with its member Radenia AG is launching. The aim is to help JCC members (manufacturing, service, technology companies) navigate the opportunities and challenges associated with disruptive IT technologies. Even without a deep understanding of IT, participants can learn from experts who come from JCC’s target region. They will present the issues in simple, non-technical terms bolstered by practical experience in different industries.

Die Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur HAW ist 1992 aus der Fusion der Kaufmännischen Gesellschaft Handelskammer Winterthur und dem Arbeitgeberverband Winterthur entstanden. Ihre Wurzeln gehen bis ins Jahr 1801 zurück. Die HAW prägte die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Stadt Winterthur und trägt bis heute dazu bei, dass Winterthur ein Wirtschaftsstandort mit gut ausgebauter Infrastruktur ist.
