**Das grosse Interesse am Webinar von economiesuisse mit Expertinnen und Experten des Staatssekretariats für Wirtschaft (SECO) zeigte deutlich, wie stark die aktuellen US-Zölle Schweizer Unternehmen beschäftigen. Im Fokus standen der aktuelle Stand der US-Handelspolitik, die Auswirkungen auf Schweizer Exporte sowie die nächsten Schritte im Verhältnis Schweiz–USA.**

Ausgangslage: Hohe Zusatzzölle belasten Exporteure  
Seit April 2025 haben die USA zusätzliche sogenannte «reziproke» Einfuhrzölle auf Waren aus der Schweiz eingeführt. Besonders betroffen waren unter anderem Maschinen, medizinische Geräte, Uhren und gewisse Lebensmittel. Ab August 2025 belief sich dieser pauschale Zusatzzoll zeitweise auf 39 Prozent – eine erhebliche Belastung für exportorientierte Unternehmen.

Parallel dazu bestehen weiterhin sektorale Zusatzzölle gemäss Section 232, etwa auf Stahl- und Aluminiumprodukte (neu bis zu 50 %), Autos und Autoteile (25 %) sowie weitere sensible Bereiche wie Kupfer, Holz oder Halbleiter

Gemeinsame Erklärung: Wichtiger Schritt zur Entspannung  
Im November 2025 haben die USA, die Schweiz und Liechtenstein eine gemeinsame, rechtlich unverbindliche Absichtserklärung (Joint Statement) verabschiedet. Ziel ist es, ein Abkommen über einen fairen, ausgewogenen und gegenseitigen Handel auszuhandeln.

Der zentrale Fortschritt:

- Der bisherige 39-%-Zusatzzoll soll durch einen einheitlichen «All-in»-Zoll von maximal 15 % ersetzt werden.
- Für bestimmte Produkte und sogenannte «aligned partners» sind zusätzliche Ausnahmen vorgesehen (Anhang III).
- Wichtige Bereiche wie Pharmazeutika und Halbleiter bleiben zwar sensibel, sollen aber auf maximal 15 % sektorale Zusatzzölle begrenzt werden

economiesuisse beurteilt diese Entwicklung insgesamt positiv: Die Zollsenkung bringt dringend benötigte Entlastung, verbessert die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit gegenüber der EU und reduziert die Unsicherheit – auch wenn ein Restrisiko bestehen bleibt.

Für Unternehmen entscheidend: Tariflinien genau prüfen  
Ein zentrales Fazit des Webinars lautet: Nicht jedes Produkt ist gleich betroffen. Unternehmen müssen ihre Zolltarifnummern sorgfältig analysieren. Je nach Produkt greifen unterschiedliche Regelungen:

- länderspezifische Zölle bis 15 %
- vollständige Ausnahmen (z. B. Pharma, Gold)
- weiterhin geltende MFN-Zölle
- hohe sektorale Zölle (z. B. Stahl, Aluminium)
- Mischfälle mit mehreren Zollbestandteilen (z. B. bei Verbundprodukten)

Fazit  
Das Webinar machte deutlich: Die jüngsten Entwicklungen bringen spürbare Entlastung für Schweizer** Unternehmen**, doch die US-Zollpolitik bleibt komplex. Entscheidend sind nun rasche Verhandlungen und eine sorgfältige Prüfung der individuellen Produktsituation. Wer frühzeitig Klarheit schafft und die vorhandenen Beratungsangebote nutzt, kann Risiken minimieren und Chancen besser nutzen.

#### Über uns

Die Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur HAW ist 1992 aus der Fusion der Kaufmännischen Gesellschaft Handelskammer Winterthur und dem Arbeitgeberverband Winterthur entstanden. Ihre Wurzeln gehen bis ins Jahr 1801 zurück. Die HAW prägte die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Stadt Winterthur und trägt bis heute dazu bei, dass Winterthur ein Wirtschaftsstandort mit gut ausgebauter Infrastruktur ist.
