Die diesjährige Herbstversammlung der Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur (HAW) setzte sich intensiv mit dem Arbeits- und Fachkräftemangel und modernen Rekrutierungsstrategien auseinander. Nebst dem Besuch des RAV Winterthur standen Input-Referate und eine Podiumsdiskussion auf dem Programm. Am Ende der Veranstaltung fand die Preisverleihung für die beste studentische Arbeit zum Thema Smart Machines statt.

#### Fachkräftemangel: Eine grosse Herausforderung für die Wirtschaft

HAW-Präsident Thomas Anwander eröffnete die Versammlung mit einem Dank an das Regionale Arbeitsvermittlungszentrum (RAV), das vorgängig seine Türen öffnete und den Teilnehmern die Möglichkeit bot, die vielfältigen Dienstleistungen des RAV genauer kennen zu lernen. Anwander betonte in seiner Eröffnungsrede, dass nach den eidgenössischen Wahlen wieder vermehrt lokale Themen in den Fokus rücken, darunter der neue [Richtplan](https://stadt.winterthur.ch/themen/leben-in-winterthur/planen-und-bauen/wir-planen-fuer-sie/richtplan-winterthur/kommunaler-richtplan/mitwirkung) und das [Budget](https://stadt.winterthur.ch/gemeinde/verwaltung/finanzen/stadtfinanzen-berichte/budget-rechnung) der Stadt Winterthur, wozu sich die HAW bereits geäussert hat und weitere Eingaben plant.

#### **Referat von Jürgen Fackelmayer vom RAV zum Thema Fachkräftemangel**

Der Leiter des RAV, Jürgen Fackelmayer, ergriff als erster Referent des Abends das Wort und präsentierte eindrucksvolle Fakten zum Thema „Schlagseite der Wirtschaft“, die verdeutlichten, wie sich der Fachkräftemangel seit 2019 verschärft hat. Die Pandemie hat die Arbeitswelt nachhaltig verändert und verschiedene Entwicklungen angestossen, die sich langfristig etablieren werden (wie beispielsweise Homeoffice).

Fackelmayer betonte auch, dass man sich derzeit in einem Arbeitnehmermarkt befindet, denn die geburtenstarke Generation der Baby-Boomer verlässt den Arbeitsmarkt nach und nach und die Lücke wird nur ungenügend durch die nachfolgenden Generation gefüllt. Die Anforderungen dieser Generationen, insbesondere der sogenannten Generation Z, an den Arbeitgeber sind zudem hoch, was Unternehmen vor neue Herausforderungen stellt.

Zuletzt unterstrich Fackelmayer die Bedeutung der Positionierung von Unternehmen als attraktive Arbeitgeber und gab konkrete Vorschläge zur Bewältigung des Fachkräftemangels, darunter Retention Management, Aus- und Weiterbildungsmöglichkeiten, Anpassungen im Rekrutierungsprozess, flexible Arbeitsmodelle und Lohnanpassungen.

#### **Ivan Urenda, Senior Talent Acquisition Partner bei Kistler**

Ivan Urenda von Kistler griff in seinem Referat das Thema Anpassung der Rekrutierungsprozess auf und beleuchtete neue Wege, um Mitarbeiter zu gewinnen. Er betonte, dass sich der Rekrutierungsprozess stark gewandelt hat und nun vorrangig online über soziale Medien erfolgt.

Da traditionelle Rekrutierungsanlässe wie ein "Tag der offenen Tür" nicht die erwünschten Erfolge mit sich brachten, hat sich Kistler zum Ziel gesetzt, sog. passive Stellensuchende anzusprechen. Urenda verwendete dabei das Bild des "Eisbergmodells", um zu verdeutlichen, dass die an der Oberfläche sichtbaren aktiven Arbeitsuchenden nur einen kleinen Teil der potenziellen Arbeitskräfte ausmachen. Kistler versuchte durch gezielte Social Media Kampagnen, diese verborgenen Arbeitskräfte zu erreichen. Obwohl dadurch einige Leads generiert werden konnten, kam es bisher zu keiner erfolgreichen Rekrutierung.

#### **Podiumsdiskussion**

Die Veranstaltung umfasste auch eine Podiumsdiskussion unter Leitung von Thomas Anwander, bei der Jürgen Fackelmayer, Ivan Urenda und Christoph Stäheli (Leiter Human Resources Swica) teilnahmen.

Die Diskussion konzentrierte sich zuerst auf das Thema konjunktureller / struktureller Fachkräftemangel. Während der konjunkturelle Fachkräftemangel den Zyklen der Wirtschaft unterworfen ist, stehen beim strukturellen Fachkräftemangel Entwicklungen wie der Demographische Wandel im Fokus, die zu einer Verschärfung des Arbeitsmarktes führen.

Die steigenden Anforderungen an die junge Generation und ihre Wahrnehmung von Arbeit als Stressfaktor waren ebenfalls Gesprächsthemen. Viele Arbeitgeber mussten feststellen, dass sich Absenzen aufgrund psychischer Erkrankungen häufen. Für Unternehmen bedeutet das, dass sie nicht nur bei der Rekrutierung, sondern auch bei der Bindung und Entwicklung von Mitarbeitern gefordert sind.

Die angeregte Diskussion bestätigte die Aktualität des Themas, dass alle betroffen und auch gefordert sind.

#### Prämierung Smart Machines Abschlussarbeit

Gegen Ende der Veranstaltung fand die Prämierung der besten studentischen Arbeit im Bereich Smart Machines statt, worüber wir in einem separaten Beitrag berichten werden.

Die 80 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer diskutierten am anschliessenden Apéro Riche rege weiter. Nebst dem Arbeitskräftemangel wurden von den lokalen Unternehmensvertretern gerade auch die zunehmend schwieriger werdenden Rahmenbedingungen in der Stadt Winterthur thematisiert.

#### Über uns

Die Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur HAW ist 1992 aus der Fusion der Kaufmännischen Gesellschaft Handelskammer Winterthur und dem Arbeitgeberverband Winterthur entstanden. Ihre Wurzeln gehen bis ins Jahr 1801 zurück. Die HAW prägte die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Stadt Winterthur und trägt bis heute dazu bei, dass Winterthur ein Wirtschaftsstandort mit gut ausgebauter Infrastruktur ist.
