Die bilateralen Verträge mit der EU haben einen hohen wirtschaftlichen Nutzen für die Schweiz. Dies haben diverse Studien gezeigt. Nun bekräftigen [neue Simulationsrechnungen von BAK Economics AG in Auftrag von economiesuisse](https://www.bak-economics.com/studien-analysen/detail/volkswirtschaftliche-auswirkungen-einer-kuendigung-der-bilateralen-vertraege-auf-die-schweiz) zum wiederholten Mal den Wert der Bilateralen: Die Studie zeigt auf, dass ein Wegfall der Bilateralen negative Auswirkungen auf die Wachstumsdynamik hätte. Die Auswirkungen wären bedeutend: Bei einem Wegfall läge das Bruttoinlandprodukt (BIP) der Schweiz im Jahr 2045 ganze 7.1 Prozent tiefer als mit den Verträgen. Kumuliert entspricht dies ab dem Jahr 2028 einer entgangenen Wirtschaftsleistung von 685 Milliarden Schweizer Franken.

#### Weniger Wohlstand bei einem Wegfall der Bilateralen

Die Verträge mit der EU sind nicht nur für die gesamtwirtschaftliche Entwicklung wichtig, sondern auch für den Wohlstand der Bevölkerung. So zeigt die neue Analyse von BAK auch, dass bei einem Wegfall der Bilateralen das Niveau des realen BIP pro Kopf im Jahr 2045 um 4.7 Prozent tiefer ausfallen würde als im Szenario mit Fortbestand der Bilateralen I. Dies entspricht einem Verlust von 5'200 Schweizer Franken im Jahr 2045 für jede Einwohnerin und jeden Einwohner. Dabei wurde berücksichtigt, dass die Nettozuwanderung durch den Wegfall der Personenfreizügigkeit geringer und damit auch das Bevölkerungswachstum tiefer ausfallen würde. 

#### ​Das Vertragspaket ist wichtig für die Standortattraktivität

Die negativen Auswirkungen eines Wegfall der Bilateralen I wären kein kurzfristiger Schock, sondern würden das langfristige Wachstumspotenzial der Schweizer Wirtschaft reduzieren. Dabei ergeben sich negative Effekte durch den Wegfall einzelner Abkommen. Besonders ins Gewicht fallen würde gemäss den Modellrechnungen von BAK eine Kündigung der Personenfreizügigkeit. Wenn die Möglichkeit eingeschränkt wird, optimal qualifizierte Arbeitskräfte aus dem EU-Raum zu rekrutieren, dann hat das spürbar negative Konsequenzenfür die Gesamtwirtschaft, für die Produktivität und letztlich auch für die Wohlstandsentwicklung. economiesuisse hat in verschiedenen Publikationen darauf hingewiesen, dass die Schweiz aufgrund der demografischen Alterung auf ausländische Arbeitskräfte angewiesen bleibt. Darüber hinaus unterstreicht die Studie den Wert des Vertragspakets als Ganzes für die Attraktivität des Standorts Schweiz. Die Modellrechnungen zeigen, dass systemische Effekte bedeutend sind. Der Nutzen des Pakets übersteigt somit die Summe der einzelnen Abkommen. Stabile und geregelte Beziehungen zur EU sind wichtig für die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung. Die Schweizer Wirtschaft braucht verlässliche Rahmenbedingungen und klare Regeln, damit Handel, Investitionen und Innovation bestmöglich gedeihen können.

#### Über uns

Die Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur HAW ist 1992 aus der Fusion der Kaufmännischen Gesellschaft Handelskammer Winterthur und dem Arbeitgeberverband Winterthur entstanden. Ihre Wurzeln gehen bis ins Jahr 1801 zurück. Die HAW prägte die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Stadt Winterthur und trägt bis heute dazu bei, dass Winterthur ein Wirtschaftsstandort mit gut ausgebauter Infrastruktur ist.
