Bei den eidgenössischen Wahlen konnte die bürgerliche Seite zulegen. Die Wirtschaft erwartet vom neuen Parlament, die drängendsten Herausforderungen mit Tatkraft anzupacken. Im Zentrum der Legislatur stehen die Energieversorgung, Altersvorsorge, Aussenwirtschaft und gesunde Finanzen.

Das Schwei­zer Stimm­volk hat ge­wählt. Die bür­ger­li­che Seite ver­zeich­net er­freu­li­che Sitz­ge­win­ne im Par­la­ment. Jetzt heisst es an­pa­cken: Die Wirt­schaft for­dert, dass das neue Par­la­ment den Ehr­geiz und die Tat­kraft zur Lö­sung der wirt­schafts­po­li­ti­schen Pro­ble­me auf­bringt. Für das Wohl­er­ge­hen der Men­schen in un­se­rem Land müs­sen die Un­ter­neh­men und ihre Mit­ar­bei­ten­den wie­der ins Zen­trum der po­li­ti­schen Ar­beit ge­rückt wer­den.

Mit Blick auf die neue Le­gis­la­tur heisst das kon­kret:

**En­er­gie­ver­sor­gung si­cher­stel­len**: Mit der Dekar­bo­ni­sie­rung steigt der Strom­ver­brauch. Damit die Strom­lü­cke ge­schlos­sen wer­den kann, müs­sen er­neu­er­ba­re En­er­gi­en rasch aus­ge­baut wer­den. Um eine Fehl­pla­nung zu ver­mei­den, soll­te die Schweiz dabei auf einen brei­ten Mix aller ver­füg­ba­ren En­er­gie­quel­len set­zen. Tech­nisch gibt es eine Viel­zahl von Lö­sun­gen. Nun liegt es an der Po­li­tik, diese auch zu er­mög­li­chen.

**Ge­ne­ra­tio­nen­ge­rech­tig­keit im Ren­ten­sys­tem schaf­fen**: In den nächs­ten 10 Jah­ren er­rei­chen rund 500'000 Per­so­nen das Ren­ten­al­ter – so viele wie noch nie. Junge und Er­werbs­tä­ti­ge zah­len die Ren­ten für immer mehr Pen­sio­nier­te, ohne Ge­wiss­heit, ob sie selbst im Alter eine si­che­re Rente er­hal­ten wer­den. Es braucht ge­mein­schaft­lich ge­tra­ge­ne Lö­sun­gen, damit alle Ge­ne­ra­tio­nen eine ver­läss­li­che Al­ters­vor­sor­ge haben.

**Aus­sen­po­li­ti­sche Be­zie­hun­gen wei­ter­ent­wi­ckeln**: Die Schweiz braucht ge­re­gel­te Ver­hält­nis­se zu ihrer wich­tigs­ten Han­dels­part­ne­rin, der Eu­ro­päi­schen Union (EU). Zudem gilt es welt­weit den Ab­schluss neuer Han­dels-, In­no­va­tions- und For­schungs­ab­kom­men zu rea­li­sie­ren. Bun­des­rat und Par­la­ment sind in der Ver­ant­wor­tung, die nö­ti­ge Sta­bi­li­sie­rung und Wei­ter­ent­wick­lung in der Aus­sen­po­li­tik zu er­wir­ken.

**Für eine ver­läss­li­che Fi­nanz­po­li­tik sor­gen**: Der wach­sen­de Bun­des­haus­halt muss auf einen sta­bi­len Kurs ge­führt wer­den. Die Schul­den­brem­se ist auch über 2024 hin­aus zwin­gend ein­zu­hal­ten. Zum einen er­for­dert dies, Prio­ri­tä­ten bei den Aus­ga­ben zu set­zen. Zum an­de­ren braucht es mehr Ehr­lich­keit über die Kos­ten­fol­ge von For­de­run­gen, die den Bür­ge­rin­nen und Bür­gern das Blaue vom Him­mel ver­spre­chen.

Der Re­form­be­darf in der Schweiz ist er­heb­lich. Das neue Par­la­ment ist nun ge­for­dert, die not­wen­di­gen Re­for­men an­zu­pa­cken. Das Haupt­ziel der Le­gis­la­tur muss sein, dass die Schweiz wie­der zu ihrer zu­wei­len trä­gen, aber zu­ver­läs­si­gen Pro­blem­lö­sung zu­rück­fin­det. Die Wirt­schaft bie­tet wei­ter­hin Hand dazu.

#### Über uns

Die Handelskammer und Arbeitgebervereinigung Winterthur HAW ist 1992 aus der Fusion der Kaufmännischen Gesellschaft Handelskammer Winterthur und dem Arbeitgeberverband Winterthur entstanden. Ihre Wurzeln gehen bis ins Jahr 1801 zurück. Die HAW prägte die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Stadt Winterthur und trägt bis heute dazu bei, dass Winterthur ein Wirtschaftsstandort mit gut ausgebauter Infrastruktur ist.
